A native of Italy, Jane Rizzo shared an Emmy award for Achievement in Editing for her work on the PBS "American Masters" documentary Judy Garland: By Myself. Rizzo also served as an associate editor for Joni Mitchell: Woman of Heart and Mind, another "American Masters" production. Rizzo's editing credits include the independent features Great World of Sound, a feature selection at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, How to Eat Your Watermelon in White Company (and Enjoy It), Road, and Henry May Long. Her other editing credits include the PBS series Freedom: A History of US, the Discovery Channel series Justice Files, the Robert Altman mini-series Tanner on Tanner for the Sundance Channel, and Altman's final film, A Prairie Home Companion. Rizzo was born in Rome and graduated from North Carolina School of the Arts.
